We have been closely monitoring Hurricane Irma and to date it would appear that at the very least our area will be experiencing tropical storm winds and rain. The safety of our faith family is our number one priority. So we are making the call early to cancel our Sunday Services (September 10th) so that our faith family will have ample time to make decisions regarding the best possible measures to take with regard to securing their homes, property and evacuating.

Our offices will be closed Friday through Monday. We plan on reopening on Tuesday morning at 9:00am. Wednesday night activities should resume as normal on September 13th as long as there is no damage to our campus.

Please be confident of our prayers for you and your family as you take the necessary measures to be safe during this storm. Should you need assistance during the storm we have provided information from the Mayor of Tampa which is listed below:

Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn has declared a local state of emergency in the City of Tampa in response to the approach of Hurricane Irma. Residents are strongly urged to follow the orders and recommendations of government officials with regard to possible evacuations and preparation concerning the category 5 storm. The City of Tampa Office of Emergency Management will provide updates via city social media accounts. Follow @CityofTampa and @AlertTampa on Twitter. A storm hotline will be available starting 8 a.m. Thursday, September 7 to answer any questions regarding the storm and city services. The toll-free number is (844) 852-8889.
